Peru's energy and mining sector opens its doors
to the world's technological solutions
Supplier companies and start-ups will have the opportunity to learn more about the challenges that mining and energy companies present in the Minergy Scouting Program.
Lima, September 27th, 2021. Minergy Scouting, the first open innovation program with international scope for the Peruvian mining and energy sector, will start their workshops phase with a workshop on September 29th at 11:00 a.m. (time in Toronto, Canada) through the Zoom platform.
The workshops will take place through virtual meetings in which the participants—suppliers and start-ups—will have their first approach with the participating mining and energy companies. These companies will explain the challenges that they are presenting in the program and will answer all the questions of the attendees.
All challenges included in the Minergy Scouting Program are classified into five categories: Community Relations, Environment, Operations, Productivity, and Occupational Health and Safety.
Representatives of co-organizers of the program, such as the National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy, the Chamber of Commerce Canada-Peru, the Canadian Embassy in Peru and PROMPERÚ's Foreign Trade Office (OCEX) in Canada will also participate.
